As day turns to night U.S. Army members with 782nd Alpha Company, make their way through a town in Southern Afghanistan during a resupply convoy, April 29. The 782nd members conducted a two day convoy to deliver combat supplies to U.S. and Coalition forces and recovered tactical combat vehicles from three different forward operating bases.

Michael “Greg” Hicks, both of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Munitions Training Department at the Ordnance Munitions and Electronics Maintenance School, look over equipment similar to what was used to tell the story of EOD Soldiers in Iraq in the Academy Award-winning movie “The Hurt Locker.” The Talon robot and EOD bomb suit play significant roles in the movie.
